Amazing that for an established rugby info platform you still can’t get the app stability right … even with paying subscribers the app fails, or doesn’t update or just goes into mysterious loops … come on guys, raise your game !

Can’t believe you have to pay to see stats from any game literally OUTRAGEOUS. $25 to follow your favorite team and keep track of all the stops and try’s scored. Should be ashamed. I will never pay just to see stats.

I clicked on the Facebook page which took me to the App, I downloaded the App, but it wouldn’t open. I deleted the App.

I was looking for an all encompassing rugby app that covered all competitions and clubs. Ultimate Rugby is close to what I want with one important exception - it does not cover Rugby League and I really want Super League and NRL, in particular, thrown into the mix. Guess I'll keep looking for an app that covers Union and league!

I used to use this app exclusively for Rugby info and it was amazing. Now, nearly everything is being a paywall and the interface is terrible. Shame that greed destroyed a good thing, but what else is new?

But they made the app worse… Are you even testing the app on an iPhone because it looks horrible. Do you not see that all your icons are blurry? Cannot even imagine how bad the code is…

Downloaded this app couple of years ago. Used to be great and well organized. But now that it’s necessary to pay to have access to any content regarding a single game I will delete it. Only the scores are accessible for free. And we can get the scores anywhere on internet so goodbye.

I would love the app but I can login. It requires Facebook but it keeps telling me I don’t have permission, and to go to device settings to fix that. When I do. I get nothing.

I have been using this app for 2 years and have always struggled with getting access to all Content notwithstanding that fact that I have paid for a full year subscription. My renewal date was 20 Jan 2020 and paid via iTunes account and I now have more issues gaining full access to all content. I have to keep clicking restore content. Surely once you have received the subscription the app should give full access to all content without question. Please sort out this irritating bug. What’s worse is I am now being forced to accept the Six Nations special at 40c a week if I want full access to ten sheets etc. this has now verging on a scam type app.

I have had this app for years. I don’t care about adverts but if you want to monetise it, try making the content worth paying for instead of content like player lists I can get anywhere- just makes the app annoying.

Used to be a good app but now that money’s involved y’all wanna switch up on us. EAD.

Subscription ads are way too much to deal with. App itself is slow and sluggish. I decided to uninstall after many happy years due to new push subscription ads on every load.. Sad..

Love the app . Perfect for rugby folk

This was an essential app for anyone who loves Rugby. It has all the data when you needed it and just a few ads. Now it seems a desperate decision to seek subscriptions at every opportunity is the new policy. Data that was free is now moved behind the paywall. Instead of adding new functions and add ons they have reduced the free functionality so as to annoy the user into buying a subscription. Really bad form. You can see this from all the reviews. Shortsighted and greedy.

This used to be the best app for rugby news/results on the app store but the developers clearly got far too greedy. $20 for a premium subscription is farcical. I've since deleted Ultimate Rugby and have been using the BBC Sport app instead. The news section is superior and the live updates are just as good. The only thing lacking is being able to see a personalized fixture list of your favorite teams/tournaments but I can live without that and save $20. Do yourself a favor and use BBC Sport.

When I downloaded this app 2yrs ago it was great with access to nearly all major competitions (I’m Aussie living in USA with French family). Local times games were on and all. But lately can’t access lower divisions and just now no teams show up on the schedule just scores. What’s the point? Have deleted it for good. Will be looking for an alternative.

All the info that is now subscription based can be found elsewhere for free. Who is going to pay 20 bucks for this app now?! Ridiculous! Good while it lasted I suppose. Paywalls where not really necessary send companies into irrelevancy.

I used to use this exclusively to keep track of fixtures in local USA time so I could plan to find venues showing the games live. Then I got a new phone and downloaded the app on it - to discover there is now an annual subscription. It sure isn’t worth it. I also agree with another reviewer that the news tab on this app is a total waste of time. This is definitely an app that has outlived its usefulness to me.

The new subscription payment model after already charging for the pro version is pretty dodgy. The app isn't even very well designed. Was nice having all rugby scores in a single app, but the HSBC and Fox Super Rugby apps are free and far better designed.

Don’t pretend to be a free app if you’re not. Just accept that 90% of your users will find all the free info somewhere else. I’ll be one of those. Everyone needs to make money, but a successful free app needs a decent sales team to find relevant adds that don’t hinder the user experience - clearly you can’t achieve that, so just delete this thing and create an app that costs $20..

This app is great for keeping up to date with rugby scores. They recently updated it to support iPhone x and it looks better than ever. Another change that was recently made was the $10 a year subscription. I wasn’t over Joyed to have to pay for something that I used to get for free but the service is good so I paid it. It was very disappointing to see that even after paying the $10 I was still seeing ads. This is not acceptable IMO. I don’t see ads on Netflix, or on Spotify premium. If you are going to continue to charge please remove the ads for this that have paid. There is also an Apple Watch feature which is pretty limited. If the Apple Watch could show live scores then I could discretely check scores while in a meeting or out with friends. That would awesome!

Can’t edit the leagues I no longer follow/are out of date, looks like it was designed on a 90’s-era windows system, clunky navigation, and all-around frustrating to use.

The app had potential. The user interface wasn't that great and it was confusing to use at times. It did however do a good job of providing team info, fixtures and the like. With the recent switch to paying for a premium subscription, I'm going to delete the app as it no longer doors the job.

Used to be excellent. Now, it's useless. The only thing I ever see is upgrade ad. Deleting app now.

I’ve been using this app since it came out as I was living in America and it was the most comprehensive way to follow rugby. Since then they have added almost every major rugby series globally which is quite a feat. But lately there has been way too many advertisements (mostly NZ related) and the introduction of the subscription to see anything about the lower ranked series is ridiculous. Also the related news area should just be removed since there are very few current articles and almost none are directly related to the teams and current events. I’m almost at the end of my rope with this app and will likely revert to following teams Twitter accounts for live game updates over UR.

This was my go to app, however now you cannot do anything without paying a yearly subscription to see things that I can get elsewhere for free. They boast about listening to suggestions, but there still isn’t a proper game clock. Deleting this app now.

I use to be able to see rosters and commentary, now I'm being forced to go premium to get those for Mitre10 and NRC! BS. Rosters I don't mind, UR is usually late anyway with their announcements.

Great for following your favorite teams. Even puts the matches on your calendar. Useful to see who's playing (players, too) on which channels. Wish it supported current screen sizes.

Difficult to configure. Shows outdated results. Complete rubbish.

This is a great app for scores, lineups, timelines and leagues. The curation of articles is the only thing preventing a full 5 star rating.

I live in US as present and rely on this to keep me up to date. Especially time Zones! Well designed app once you have set it all up to your preferences.

I haven't been able to mark players as favorites for several months. I always get an error message. No problem adding teams, leagues, etc. Otherwise, great app.

Works great really enjoy all the different news paper sections and reports!

The game chats and diverse coverage makes the app indispensable for all rugby fans.

Love it! Keeps me up to speed on every match in the world of rugby.

When I first started using this app it was intuitive, and adding tournaments and/or teams to your favorites list was easy. It would populate your screen with only what you need or want to see. After trying the new Pro version for ten minutes, I can't figure out how to do the most basic stuff. I'm out ten minutes, and out the $4 I had to pay to download it. Man I could've given that dang $4 to a hungry kid. Disappointed.

I have an iPad4 (first Retina display) running the latest version of iOS (10.2.1) and the update tells me the app is no longer compatible with my device. What is the app doing that you would need the latest hardware? Especially since the latest operating system is running on the hardware.

If you want to know what is going on on you league or favorite team, this is the APP!!

Great update, but improvements could be made to the ui's side panel. If feels outdated still and could be improved. Bug fixes were great. The biggest improvement I would like to see is in organization and search reliability.

Support is needed desperately for the larger screen sizes of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus!!please

What will make this app great would be score push notifications for your favourite teams... Not just for for when the match starts and team announcements.

Seems like a decent app for following the men's World Cup and their other games. I appreciate the calendar and general set up of the app.. But where are the women's teams? I only see 5 to follow, and not even the USA Eagles women. What about some of the WPL teams? I'd like to see a bit more growth in this aspect.

Subscribed to several league calendars, get "kicking off" and "full time" notifications of games, teams and leagues that I am subscribed to. Great real time scoring and plenty of other great features that bring professional rugby to the heart of America.

Great stuff! All rugby teams and leagues are here. No more trawling through TV websites for fixtures and trying to work out your time zone. 5 stars.

It's not immediately obvious as to how to go about adding new favourite teams or leagues. So for a while it made the app useless. I use a lot of rugby apps and never had that difficulty.

Hands down, the best rugby app. With this app, I can customize the feeds that I get based on my favorite teams (professional or national) and/or favorite players and/or favorite leagues. I can see my team's fixtures and results as well as follow the score minute by minute with updated rosters. Seriously, I really can't say enough good things about this app, I'm really enjoying it.
